Who am I?

I have finally decided to show you and tell you a bit about myself. First of all my name is Monique and I am addicted to stamping and crafting in general. Not only is crafting my passion but children are too. I am trying very hard to save up and raise money to adopt a baby girl from China which we have named "Maylin" if you would like to donate to help this great cause click on the chip in button in the posts below or leave me a comment or email me. Okay now don't laugh too much about my picture, it's late and I have wet hair so I look like the cat got me.

Lace Snowflakes

Can you tell Lace Snowflakes is one of my favourite Stampin Up' sets? This one is very basic, did a bit of paper piercing (which didn't turn out all that well)

More Club Stamp (Crap)

I am considering the Club Stamp kits "crap" IMHO the stamps are boring and the kits are so so, definitely not worth the money I am paying for them. Thankfully I only have a month or two left in the subscription. Anyways, this card is totally not me and I am really not sure I even like it but I made it.

House Mouse

One of my favourites (in case you didn't already know) are these adorable House Mouse stamps, only wish I could buy them here so I have to get them all online. Anyways, here is a stamp I got last year that I have been wanting to use. So here it is, just plain the way I like it.

Club Stamp

I must say that I am not overly impressed with the Club Stamp products but I will do my best to use up what I purchased and won't renew my membership. The stamps are not the best and the paper colors are just not me. But I am trying to use them and go out of my comfort zone. Anyways, this card is using paper from the last kit I got. It's a cute little note card size and very plain. I just embellished with some eyelets.

Peace on Earth

Using the "Lace Snowflakes" from Stampin Up, I made this soft wintery card. I used the 2007 In Color, Buckaroo Blue (I believe) and used some patterend paper from Club Stamp. The ribbon is from my stash and it's a nice soft card. This card or any other card you see can be purchased and/or sent to a loved one. All cards are $2.50 not including shipping and/or personalization. All funds from sales will go towards bringing Maylin home.
